I'm Colby!
I get it — your dog is your best friend.
I work from home, so I’m here all day for walks, fetch, belly rubs, and whatever other important business your dog has planned. I only take one guest dog at a time, so your dog actually gets my attention.
I have my own dog — friendly, playful, and who honestly should probably be getting paid. He’s an Einstein when it comes to sensing other dogs and knowing when to play or give space.
Dogs are welcome on the couch — and pretty much anywhere they decide is theirs.

What Dogs Second Home Offers:

Play
Whatever your dog’s thing is — tug, fetch, or just sniffing around they get to do it and give me the opportunity to procrastinate.

Full-Time Care
I’m home all day, so your dog gets the attention you can’t give while you’re off doing your thing. No guilt — they’re getting cared for and their diet, meds and routines are respected

Check-ins
I’ll send updates and photos so you know your dog’s doing well — and possibly are having a better time than you.
At Dogs Second Home:
A Home, NOT A FACILITY
My house is in North Seattle, two blocks from the Northgate light rail station. Your dog has full run of the place.
I work from home so I am with your dog throughout the day —They aren’t parked somewhere waiting for me to get back. We share the day together: errands, car rides walks and belly rubs.
And I keep things how your dog is used to — crate, diet, meds — whatever matters to you and your dog

Fees
$67 a day or $82 a day for Holidays
Next Steps
To make sure it’s a good fit, we’ll start with a meet and greet. We’ll meet, your dog can get a feel for the space, me and my dog and I’ll get a sense of what they need to do well so this becomes their second home.
Use the form below to reach out and we’ll find a time to meet.
